    Mode of Action

    This product combines two fungicides with different, complementary modes of action. Azoxystrobin is a strobilurin (QoI) fungicide that blocks mitochondrial respiration in fungal cells by binding at the Qo site of the cytochrome bc1 enzyme complex, cutting off the fungus's energy (ATP) supply and inhibiting spore germination at a very early stage. Difenoconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits the C14-demethylase enzyme needed to build ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, blocking normal cell membrane formation. Because the two actives interrupt the fungal life cycle at two separate, unrelated biochemical points, the combination gives both preventive and curative activity across a wider range of fungal diseases than either active alone, and is significantly harder for a fungal population to develop resistance against than a single-mode product used repeatedly. Both actives are absorbed into leaf tissue and move within the plant (translaminar and upward/xylem movement), continuing to protect new growth after spraying.

    How to Use

    1. Identify your crop and target disease from the table above, and confirm the correct dose per acre for that crop.
    2. Measure the required quantity and pre-mix it in a small quantity of water, then add this to the spray tank and top up to the full water volume while stirring, so the suspension concentrate disperses evenly.
    3. Spray using a knapsack or power sprayer fitted with a flat-fan or hollow-cone nozzle for uniform leaf coverage, preferably during the early morning or late evening.
    4. Avoid spraying in hot, windy conditions or when rain is expected within a few hours, as this reduces efficacy and can cause spray drift or wash-off.
    5. Repeat sprays at 10–15 day intervals if disease pressure continues, and always respect the waiting period before harvest; since this product already combines two mode-of-action groups, avoid adding a third fungicide from the same strobilurin or triazole group in the same spray program without good reason.

    Precautions & Safety

    • Wear appropriate PPE — mask/respirator, gloves, goggles and full-sleeved clothing — while mixing and spraying.
    • Do a small jar-compatibility test before tank-mixing with other agrochemicals, and avoid mixing with strongly alkaline materials.
